ALOR SETAR: Fifty-two National Service
(NS) trainees from the Dusun Minda Resort in Kuala Nerang have been
quarantined for the past two days due to fever.
NS Department director Datuk Abdul Hadi
Awang Kechil said they were quarantined following the advice of a
medical officer from the Kuala Nerang Health Centre.
“They are suffering from regular
fever but have been quarantined due to the large number involved.
They have been separated from the other trainees at the camp and
excluded from taking part in normal activities,” he said when
contacted yesterday.
It is understood that the camp, located
about 30km from here, has more than 320 trainees.
